To all my friends of CADXA and SADXA.......

I want to express my sincere thanks and appreciation
to all of you for your thoughts and prayers over the past
2 weeks. I received well over 25 phone calls, and several
cards in the mail. All were greatly appreciated. From our
conversations it appears that what I went through is not
    an uncommon happening.

To bring everyone up to date: Last Monday (the 7th)
I suffered a "Mild Heart Attack"; as if ANY could be termed
"mild". Severe chest pain and tingling of both arms.
Tuesday in the "Cath Lab" at Banner Desert MC, die showed
3 areas of Left Coronary Artery blockage due to plaque.
As I lay on the table, just before the angio procedure, being
a former employee of Medtronic, I requested they insert the
Medtronic Endeavor drug-coated stents. I received
three of them...You know..Reliability and Quality count!!!!

After 8 days of relative rest, I just returned from my
first check-up with my Cardiologist. ALL IS WELL !!!!
I can now proceed with the regimented physical
wellness program at the hospital, as well as a controlled
diet. Someone also mentioned that the best recovery
route is a little "DX" in the log!! Doctor's orders???

Two comments for all: DO NOT rely on your
Cholesterol count as an accurate indication of plaque
in your arteries. For the past 4 years mine was
averaging 170-190, and was 160 last Monday morning.

and: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE YOURSELF to
the Hospital. CALL 911!!! It took EMT about 6-1/2
minutes from the time of the call until my first dose
    of Nitro-Glycerin.

Again, thank you all very, very much for all of your
thoughts, prayers and calls. God was certainly
    watching over us!!!!!!

        Bob (K7BHM) and Gerri Davies
