It's almost here.  The Spring edition of the Tucson Ham Radio Picnic is
about to take place.  Please join us on Saturday April 16th at Christopher
Columbus Park on Silverbell Road at Noon in Northwest Tucson for this great
event. Visit the website for ALL the details.  This is a POTLUCK and
everyone is asked to bring something to share. A signup list is available on
the website.  Choose something we need or bring your own idea.  Either way,
let us know on the website so we can list it.  Once you sign up for the
Potluck,  we will count your RSVP and buy Hot Dogs based on how many people
sign up.  If you don't give us a count when you sign up for the Potluck,  we
will email you back asking for a total number of people you will be bringing
to the picnic.

Our Ramada at Christopher Columbus Park is excellent for the family.  There
is a playground right next to our Ramada.  There's a lake for you fishers.
Plenty of room for the kids and adults to run around.

We are also looking for demo stations.  Feel free to set up and operate a
station and help promote the hobby to the public. If you are bringing a demo
setup, please let us know so it can be added to the website.

Talk-In will be on 146.520 Simplex.

This is a family event.  Bring the whole family out to this wonderful event.
The kids will have a blast. Special Attention to the kids is ALWAYS a
priority.
