Hi Wes,
Yes it is really noisy today, most of the time S7 at my place, however I'm using a vertical which does bring in a lot of noise. I can't hear the EX at all.

I heard that.
Later E4X announced that he was looking for General class 14.235 to 14.245. Callers blindly moved there and apparently QRMed some slow-scan guys. One of them moved to 14.195 and chewed everyone out. An argument ensued with lots of words were exchanged that can't be used around children (which many of these guys apparently are).
The slow scan guy(s) then started transmitting on the DX frequency. His signal had built to where he was readable anyway (sort of) and he returned to listening 5 to 15 up. I called at at one point he came back with "whiskey sugar" but in the confusion, I had already moved the TX VFO and couldn't remember where it had been set. So I failed to work him as the peak ended and he faded back into the QRM and QRN.
Speaking of QRN has the band (20) been really noisy or is it something local at my QTH?
Wes
