Guess I know where my allowance is going.
Tell me about it. I just sent a bunch of cards out yesterday. Between a 98 cent stamp, two envelopes, a QSL card, some printer labels and between 2 to 5 green stamps, I think it averages between 4 and 5 bucks per outgoing QSL. But I like getting the return cards and I don't golf.
OTOH if you aren't signed up for Logbook of the World, you should. With my new found interest in RTTY I've worked 101 countries since August (the latest XU7ABN about an hour ago).
Using LoTW, I have 62 of them confirmed already. I've received one paper card (and sent none until yesterday) The guys on this mode are computer-literate and more apt to use LoTW. For example, I worked DP1POL on 20-30-40-meters and had them confirmed within the hour!
Congrats on the countries.
Wes
