Wes, thanks for the article by ok2kkw. fantastic bit of history on the moonbounce part of ham radio. Remember reading about Sam Harris and his exploits out of Puerto Rico. much better than the radio on a hip that has taken over a big part of ham radio today.
just worked the T32VI on third band today with wonderful atmospheric conditions.

I heard them on 2-meters in 1960 sumpthin' when they first tried that band.
I had a HB 7 el Yagi with the reflector resting on the ground and about 100' of RG8 between the antenna and the preamp.
As I recall my SWL report was mentioned in QST.
