Forwarded from Bob K8IA:

This email is to notify you and your fellow club members that the Fourth Annual
Seventh Area QSO Party (7QP) will take place from 1300Z May 2 thru 0700Z May 3
(6am thru Midnight local MST on Saturday May 3).

7th call area stations work everyone, others work 7th area stations only. Work
stations once per band/mode. 7th area mobiles (and those participating in other
concurrent QSO parties or contests) may be worked again as they enter new
counties. New rules this year also allow digital qso's for same point bonus as cw
qso's.

Full Rules and much other info is available at the 7QP website:
http://www.codxc.com/new/Page.asp?Content=DRYLAND7S&Page=1

7QP has become the most active of any new QSO Party implemented in many yrs. In
fact, the first year, 2006, it had more activity than any first year of any QSO
Party, ever! Pretty impressive.

Thanks to the activity of you folks, Arizona had 274 stations active and all of
its 15 counties represented in the 2008 7QP.

Please let your fellow club members know of this great operating activity, and
make plans now! Either myself (bobk8ia at aol.com) or Steve KN5H
(kn5h at earthlink.net) can field any questions you may have.

In addition please email any planned operations to Bill K2DI at 7qpops at codxc.org
so he can keep the website updated.
