[RVRC] W2QW Website Info

[Jim Rosellli]

Hello W2QW Members,

It's once again time to renew our website hosting and development package on the Wix platform.

I wanted to take a moment to emphasize the value of our website, WWW.W2QW.ORG, as both an important resource for our members and the public face of the Raritan Valley Radio Club.

Over the years, I've worked to maintain a website that is informative, visually appealing, and current. Updates are generally made within hours of receiving new information, ensuring that members and visitors have timely access to club news, activities, and resources.

Beyond announcing meetings and events, our website serves a broader purpose. It highlights our annual Hamfest through photographs, allowing those unable to attend to share in the experience. It also provides information about our assistance to amateur radio operators and families managing the equipment and estates of Silent Keys.

I believe we've developed a website that compares very favorably with those of other amateur radio clubs, both in appearance and content. More importantly, it reflects the character, activities, and community spirit of W2QW.

As the club's webmaster and developer, I'm pleased to continue maintaining this resource and keeping it something we can all be proud of.

Today’s Website update includes sections for SKYWARN, ARES, CERT, SWPC, POTA and a Links section.
