Activation Time / On the Air : 10:00am - 2:00pm EST (14:00–18:00 UTC)

Observatory will be open at 8:30am for early setup.

From 2:00 – 5:00pm EST, there will be a tour of the observatory and, if the skies are clear, solar viewing with telescopes outfitted with Hydrogen Alpha filtered optics for safe viewing of the Sun.

Coffee and doughnuts are available in the early morning, and Pizza for lunch.

Water, soft drinks, and snacks are available throughout the day.

Please let me know, by Friday, if you will be joining us for the event so that we can plan accordingly.

It would be wonderful if those who have already done activations could attend and help us through our first.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Observatory.
