[RVRC] W2T Field Day at the Observatory

Good afternoon :

Raritan Valley Radio Club (RVRC/W2QW) and W2T New Jersey Astronomical Association.

I wanted to update everyone on what we have already queued up (on hand) for the event: 

1.  50’ Telescoping tower ( portable ), need help caring onto the property and setup.
2.  Yeasu G2800 Rotor, 150’ control cable and mast adapter (incase rotor will not sit on flat plate)
3.  Hy-Gain TH-3JRS 3 Element Beam antenna.  New, has to be assembled.
4.  Green Heron RT21D rotor controller should arrive by next Friday
5.  Two 125’ rolls of LMR400 coax, 239 male connectors each end.
6.  Radios :  Icom 7610,  Icom 7300, Icom 705 QRP, Icom 745, Icom 9700 (maybe if I get antenna setup)
Note, we will only operate two radios at a time on different bands.

We will be using N1MM for logging using two networked notebook computers..

In process / we need help with:

1.  Borrowing a generator so we can work off grid.
2.  Food, drinks etc. throughout the event ( can someone help / manage this, funded with a budget already ).  
We have a grill at the observatory we can use.

We have interested High School students who will be observing / operating.  So it's a great time to represent our organizations.
