Hello everyone.

Exciting news. ISS has a new 2m FM repeater activated recently.

Transmit Uplink : 145.990 MHz , CTCSS 67 Hz tone required on transmit

Receive Downlink 437.800 MHz

There is an ISS pass this evening :

Rise 10:07:27PM at 10 deg NW

Transit 10:10:44PM at 51 deg SW

Set 10:13:59PM 10 deg SW

Not the highest pass ( 90 deg ) but you should be able to hear it and maybe even work it.

So if you using a vertical, the signal best reception time is as it rises and sets assuming its transit is at 90 deg.
With it being 51 deg, you should be able to hear it as it transits as it will not null directly overhead.

OK everyone. Let's get radio active !
How about we all try to hear it tonight. If you can record the pass, that would be awesome to share at our upcoming RVRC Zoom meeting.
In the mean time, send a quick note to everyone on the mail list tonight or tomorrow to let us know if you heard it.

Here is a nice video introduction about the new repeater.
