[RVRC] W2QW 2 meter repeater progress rprt

Members,

 

I have received copies of correspondence from the NJB tower management and
from Paul, kc2vrj, that the installation is still on-track.  Decisions are
being formulated by the management on proceeding within our budgeted amount

For the tower work required.  We are still going forward and although it's
been one year since we started, everything is lined-up waiting for the tower
manager to provide the cabling and a.c. power. 

 

My feelings are that this location is so good and the offering is so good
that it is well worth the wait. 

 

As you all are now aware, the total failure of MetroCor to act in it's own
prescribed rules and policies has caused this long delay.  This has been
exacerbated by the outbreak of COVID-19 which has had its effect on delaying
tower work.

 

We now have an actual letter of confirmation that this move has been
approved by MetroCor.  We all need to be patient as this project is moving
forward with the good graces of the people Paul Nannery has been working
with at the site.
