[RVRC] SPARC to hold Tech. license study classes

SPARC (South Plainfield Amateur Radio Club)  would appreciate placing this
announcement for publication in the Sept. 13 issue of the TAP.

 

The South Plainfield Amateur Radio Club will be offering AMATEUR RADIO
LICENSE STUDY CLASSES for the FCC amateur radio TECHNICIAN CLASS license.
This class will consist of 8 weeks with one day each week in class and

Home study between classes.

Classes will be held at the CERT meeting room in the SOUTH PLAINFIELD
COMMUNITY POLICE STATION located at the corner of New Market Ave. and
Hamilton Blvd

Pre-registration is required and the study guide purchased.

 

Classes will begin on September 17 at 7 p.m. and convene each Tuesday ending
on November 5th.  All FCC exams will be offered at the conclusion of
classes.

There is no fee for classes but purchase of the study guide is required. A
fee of $15.00 is required for the FCC exam at the time the exam is taken.

There is no age restriction for FCC amateur radio licenses.
