[RVRC] RVRC meeting this evening 09/12

RVRC members,

 

I was very disappointed in the turn-out this evening for the visit by our
ARRL Hudson Division Director, Mike Lisenco, N2YBB.  We had arranged this in
August.  This had been your opportunity to meet him and hear about his bid
for reelection to the position of Director and to ask any questions you
might have about ARRL.

 

Amateur radio is constantly in danger of spectrum loss and regulations that
could severely impose limits on this hobby we love and the activities we
look forward to.  Election of Director and ARRL officers is a very important
responsibility if we expect to continue with strong leadership and
capabilities to safeguard amateur radio.

As an ARRL member you will be receiving a ballot in the mail during the
first week of OCTOBER.  Please inform ARRL if you do not receive a ballot by
