[RVRC] MIT uses Radio Frequency heating for Fusion Energy experiments

I remember when I worked at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab back at the
end of the 1970's, RF heating was already being used to heat the plasmas. I
guess the breakthrough described in this article is the use of small
amounts of Helium-3, added to the mix.  I also recall there were quite a
few hams working at PPPL back then and many were involved in the design and
construction of high-powered RF amps!  Pretty cool stuff!  73,
