[RVRC] A Four Years Ago (Sad) Memory

This happened four years ago and I posted it on Facebook:

I learned today that another ham radio friend became a Silent Key. Dennis
Kopecky, W2IU (ex-WJ2R) passed away suddenly. I don't have any details, but
I can say how shocked I am - Dennis retired from Continental Airlines and
was engaged in a number of post-retirement activities. Always a gentleman,
he and I rarely agreed about a lot of issues, but our interchanges were
always respectful of each other. He will be missed by all who knew him. 73,
Dennis, good DX.

I still miss that old curmudgeon!
