Members,
At this time I am happy to report the tower work is completed. All antennas
are now back on their arms we also added a 5ghz wifi beam as a means to
control the repeater if the internet goes down. That is a project that will
some testing and time but had to be started when we had a climb. The
repeaters are both running at 100 watts. And are fully tuned and adjusted.
Swr is almost flat in both systems. Any issues please text or email me or
criag ac2fe. Also we were asked by Bryan wb0yle to host a 220 repeater on
our back up tri-band antenna. The tech committee and the executive board
agreed in exchange for all of Brian and cully have given us in this project
however the requirements were that he be insured by the same insurance
company we are insured by he is also running off the same power system as
the gmrs repeater that's causing no extra electricity to be used then what
we are currently paying for and just as a point of information the club
does not pay for the electricity for the gmrs repeater that is handled
between them and Sue. I do not have the frequency at but as soon as I do
I will put an email out with that information
I would like to thank cully Brian Anna Jim and Craig for the help up at the
site and getting the systems online this weekend
Thank you
Paul
