This is a frightening development along with the ''convenience'' of ''Smart-TV's''.  A real warning directly from a manufacturer that ''internet connected smart TV's'' can listen-in on conversations nearby the TV!!

I would suggest that, if there is an internet-connected TV, it should be disconnected from the internet when not in use and caution should be used when using the TV while connected to the internet!!

P.S. It is my opinion (you know about ''opinions'') that a ''smart TV'' is not a 'smart item at all to have in your home or office' if it means requiring to change your lifestyle in your own home or place!!!
