[RVRC] 5k run 2nd call for volunteers

This is a second call for volunteers as I have not heard back from anyone willing to step up. This complacent attitude of the membership isn't helping the progress and exposure of and for our club or ham radio as a whole. When others look to us for assistance, even for a public service event, and get no response to assist, it gives them a negative impression of us as being nothing more than lip service. Faith without works is dead and a club without works is dead. I would like to be able to write the event organizer back and tell him I have people that will assist, but the way it is looking I will have to tell him I cannot provide them with anyone and we won't have a second chance for future events with them. After repeated attempts to try to get this club to get out and do more so we can get exposure to promote not just ourselves but promote the hobby, a win win situation. But it seems there is no interest and the majority of you are more than content
 to do a hamfest once a year and club meetings and nothing else. Actions speak louder than words, and what I am hearing is that most of you can't or don't want to be bothered.
