There will be a workday this Saturday at the repeater site starting around 9 AM. The work that is planned includes outside cleanup around the tower area, insulation and electrical work in the shed, and prep work in the garage to get ready to move the club gear into the shed.
We need workers to help move equipment and to do yard cleanup outside the shed and around the tower area. You will need some good strong boots, long pants and work gloves. We also need steel rakes, weed trimmers, garbage bags etc for the cleanup.
For any first timers, the site is on a hill that is fairly rocky with some thick brush in places. Please be prepared.
Jim Nannery KC2ZXP will be working in the shed to apply spray on insulation. This is a urethane type foam material that comes in tanks similar to a propane tank. Help is needed to move this equipment up to the shed and to support Jim moving things around during the work.
We also hope to clean out some of the unused club "stuff" in garage to get the cabinets ready to move into the shed. Other work may take place as time and human resources allow.
Please arrive close to 9 AM so we can get organized and start working.
The address is:
112 Rock Rd. West
Greenbrook, NJ 08812
Thank you
