THE AMERICAN LEGION RADIO CLUB CELEBRATES
LEGION’s 95th BIRTHDAY TOMORROW

The American Legion Amateur Radio Club (TALARC) will operate special event station K9TAL tomorrow, Saturday, March 15, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (1300 to 2000 UTC) to commemorate the 95th anniversary of The American Legion, the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization.

The primary frequency to look for K9TAL will be 14.275 MHz on 20 meters +/- 5 KHz; Channel 5 of the Crossroads Reflector on IRLP 9205 and locally on 146.46 MHz Simplex in Central Indiana.

A full-color certificate and QSL card will be sent upon receipt of a 9-by12-inch self-addressed stamped envelope to the American Legion National Headquarters, Attn: TALARC, 700 North Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204
