Net Night

Both ETS and RVRC operate scheduled nets

WHY?

There are several good reasons to run nets.

Probably the biggest is to maintain our communication skills,

We test our equipment, and our actual ability to communicate.

This enables us to JUMP IN during emergency situations. (public service)

Another reason is to help our newer hams enhance their skills.

When you run a net, it gets easier as you go along. Rudolpho N2HRJ

Is a classic example of this. He has gotten quite comfortable running

A net and really does a good job.

There are people out there that are not hams that listen is on their scanners.

We also learn from each other about new equipment and new techniques.

We all should at least make the effort to check in on net night.

Let’s try to “grow” out hobby.

Don’t be chicken – check in.

Best 73 de N2VHV (Jeff)
