Greetings all,

Today was a beautiful day for the W2QW Hamfest. One could not have asked
for a better day in so many ways.

A special thanks to all committee chairs and those assigned to their
respective assignments. Even more kudos to those members that easily
handled multiple assignment and seemed to be having fun. You know who
you are and what needed to be done got done. Thanks.

We didn't hear any complaints except that Kathy Sauder of Sauder
Electronics was missed as we all were looking to pick up that item we
needed in the shack or for the mobile. As usual Gene of KJI Electronice
was very supported of our end goal of having a successful hamfest. If
you get a chance try to visit his new store.

The VE Exam team candidates all went home with an upgrade. The team was
lead by W2LJ, Larry, and the VE's were W2LJ, AB2ZK, AB2ZK, Carlos,
KE2TT, and KB2JSG. Marvin K2VHW brought in tables and chairs for the
testing event and Jim, KC2ZXP provided the canopies and water for the
candidates..
A special thanks to the setup crews chaired by Scott, W2SJW, W2AEW, Alan
and Craig, AC2FE for getting everything set up and running. Kenny,
KC2OOP, Bruce, KC2YSF and W2LJ and Tim AB2ZK seem to be everywhere.

The club table crews lead by John, WA2F and David K2ULF kept everything
well under control on the tables. They sold my Amp in 5 minutes. How
good is that?

Of Course the Crew run by Bill, W2UDT to include Pete, KD2ARB, Jackie,
KC2VVN were the heart of the activities coordinating the many door
prizes and drawings. They were energized by that delicious crumb cake
Victor, K2NBC dropped off. Bob KC2RDU and Sharon ran a flawless raffle
for the vintages radios and speaker that surpassed last years take by a
considerable amount. Our treasure Anna, KD2DUK is officially our
sergeant of arms and Fifty Fifty ticket seller. Everyone bought a ticket
from her.If they didn't Paul, KC2VRJ, was ready with the rescue bus.

Finally, our guest, David Burger from Australia was a delightful guest
who also donated many books to our club table. The books went fast and
quite a number of sellers/buyers went home with unexpected and
information packed gifts to add to ones library.

We want to say this like all the others was another enjoyable hamfest,
and I know there are many names  not mentioned, only because of creeping
dementia, lol. So when I get the group photo from Anna, If you're in the
photo we like to say thank you for making this an enjoyable day. We hope
everyone like the food truck.

73,
Drew, Moore, W2OU;
Rich Pascale, W2PQ
