Guys,

 

                I'm going to offer this to club members first, and then
bring it to the hamfest if no one here has any interest.

 

                I bought a Connect Systems CS700 UHF portable in March. The
radio does analog & DMR digital (mostly known in the US as MotoTRBO). The
repeater I was using in Budd Lake (K2SRT) went off-line in early May due to
failure of the finals. The owner has stated that he will probably not put
the repeater back up in that location, as he has one of the new Yaesu
digital repeaters as well & wants to try it at that location.

 

                This effectively renders the unit useless to me, as I'm not
in range of anything else here in my part of Warren County. I'm going to
offer the unit + the programming cable for $150.00. The software is free
from the manufacturer, but you MUST register for a free radio ID at
www.dmr-marc.net <http://www.dmr-marc.net>  before you can operate on DMR
digital networks.

                Bryan, WB0YLE has stated in the past that they are currently
working on coordination for a UHF machine to go up in the Martinsville area,
so this might be of interest to you guys down there. The radio is in mint
condition - not a mark on it anywhere. Anyone interested should contact me
direct (off the list).
