[RVRC] February Meeting Cancelation due to Weather

Thank you for planning to conduct your information net tonight. Please run it as you would usually conduct the net. We have no intention to conduct the RVRC meeting on the air, but have invited the RVRC membership to join in your net. Perhaps in the future we can put some thought in how to conduct an over the air business meeting properly. Thanks for the offer.

Of course I will do my usual dual monitor trick but at a very low level.

My basic plan for the net tonight is to first of all I will LINK the repeaters,

Start the net making the announcement that we are conducting the RVRC meeting ON THE AIR.

I willTurn control of the net over to RVRC - like on of he officers who can conduct checkins etc and run the meeting.

When the meeting adjurns they can return control to me and I will close the net.

This was a GREAT idea, Marv is like an old Chevy or fine wine, he is improving as he ages.

My only regret is that I didn’t think of it when I cancelled the ETS meeting
