[RVRC] HR 4969 (the PRB-1 extension bill)

Work on HR 4969, the Amateur Radio Parity Act of 2014 is ongoing. 
Although Congress is on vacation until September, there has been meetings
with legislators and their staffs in their district offices. Some
meetings have gone extremely well and I hope to pick up some more
co-sponsors soon.

There is much you can do as well. First, if you live in one of the
following districts, you should email your Representative and say thank
you for their support and for co-sponsoring HR 4969. 

This is extremely important. Just a simple thank you should go to:

Leonard Lance (NJ-7)**
Steve Israel (NY- 3)
Carolyn McCarthy (NY-4)
Michael Grimm (NY-11)
Chris Gibson (NY-19)

For those of you who live in other Congressional districts, please
email your Representative once again asking them to support and
co-sponsor HR-4969. AND, IF YOU KNOW A CONGRESSMAN/WOMAN, OR ONE OF
THEIR STAFFERS, PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY SO THAT WE COULD SET
SOMETHING UP TO MEET WITH THEM AND DISCUSS THE BILL!!!

The extension of PRB-1 to hams living in deed restricted communities is
arguably the most critical issue facing Amateur Radio today. We MUST do
something now.
