[RVRC] who says ham radio isn't entertaining?

There is no reason K9JBM should be operating on 14.295. Let's hope the call
was copied incorrectly.

Well there's more than meets the eye here. I would say N4TAT has been a ham
longer that the dates shown on QRZ. Anyone with 20k lookups has been around
awhile. The date your seeing is either a renewal date or the date he
received his vanity call. Who knows how long k9bjm was a tech plus with HF
privileges before it was changed to technician designation. I suspect his
licensed lapsed at some point. There's more to this story. Somehow I think
the request for SWR was a spoof going on between them.

Drew

That was understood, another part of the sad story.

"couldn't find it". I couldn't hear the other guy, but N4TAT kept asking if
he could give him a SWR reading on his (N4TAT's) signal. I guess the other
guy must have given him grief, as N4TAT kept saying that he "couldn't
understand what the problem was, all I need is my SWR reading."!

CQ. He was answered by K9JBM. Now I don't know what was scarier, N4TAT
asking him for the SWR on receive, or K9JBM giving him his SWR!

a Tech, licensed since June 2013.
