[RVRC] Election time is here!!

Hello RVRC members,

The time of year is here again where we have a responsibility to hold
ELECTIONS for officers of the club.

All positions are open and we need nominations and volunteers to fill the
position of President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Any members
that are interested in serving in one of the positions is asked to volunteer
as soon as possible. We are behind the eight ball at this time. A nominating
committee was supposed to have been in place and have presented a full slate
of officers at the October business meeting. Additional nominees would have
been accepted from the floor at that time.

Our election is to take place at the December Business Meeting and the newly
elected officers seated at the January 2014 meeting. In addition to the
normal slate of officers the current administration is looking for someone
to serve as a membership chairperson. It's important that we grow our
membership to be able to operate as an interesting Amateur Radio Club. The
incumbents of the above offices have done a great job. 

If you are not interested in any of the above positions perhaps you would
like to chair a Hamfest committee, organize a public service event, deliver
a presentation to the membership on a ham related topic, be an organizer for
a fund raising event. Etc. We need you as a member to be involved. So,
between now and the December meeting send your name and position desired or
the name of a member you want to nominate for a position to Marty Friedman
at (radiomf at comcast.net ) and let's make 2014 a year of accomplishments.
