[RVRC] Dues increase potential

There's always additional fund-raiser activities RVRC can do.  Some years ago we ran an auction that generated additional revenue.  Marty, KB2JSG, I believe was the point-man on that.  Other clubs run several auctions yearly so that we, together with our hamfest earnings,  might come up with as much funds as raising dues moderately would raise!  I caution the membership against wholesale increases of dues as it has a higher than desired drop-out effect.  
If other organizations can raise funds without assessment (or mandatory dues increases), so can RVRC.  The club simply can't ''wish'' for funds, we have to go out and generate/earn it!
