It was a grand success (considering the economic issues of today) with a lot of effort and hard work. Yes, it is a ''labor-intensive'' event for RVRC members; I returned home at 3 p.m. or so and felt like I was a D.C. motor on discharged batteries!!! But it works for the successes and ventures of RVRC! We all ought to consider additional activities that would enhance the club's ability to do the projects costing money.**
In addition, we lack the social activities we once had that made RVRC interesting and even great family activity(ies). Perhaps we can 'rekindle' having picnics and group activities like trips to ARRL and historical locations that have had something to do with radio/broadcasting/electronics, etc.
Thanks to all the members who put forth such a yeoman's effort on Saturday!

Members,
There was a big spike in our W2QW.org website activity in the days leading
up to the hamfest. With the weather forecast showing a good outlook for
Saturday many buyers/sellers ventured out of their soggy surroundings to
visit our successful. Thanks for the great combined effort by all in making
it a success.
