The Princeton/Central New Jersey Chapter of the IEEE Power and Energy
Society would like to invite you to a solar farm talk and tour at the
Lawrenceville School.
Meeting Date: Tuesday, February 19, 2013
Meeting Time 4:00 PM
We will meet on campus of Lawrenceville School, parking lot near golf
course. Depending on weather, walk or drive and walk to a spot to view
the solar farm installation. We shall return to the parking lot and then
proceed to a meeting room on campus for the talk.
The Lawrenceville School has installed a 6 MW solar farm on school land
that supplies about 90 percent of the electricity used by the school. We
will have a chance to see the installation that uses tracking solar
panels and hear about its installation and utilization. Some information
on the solar farm is posted on the school's website

The Lawrenceville School
The Lawrenceville School is located on US 206 (in Lawrenceville) just
North of the interchange with I-95. Coming north from I-95,
Approximately a mile, turn right into school entrance just before white
Church building, which is also just before the traffic light at the
Intersection with Gordon Avenue. Coming south from Princeton on US 206,
just past the light with Gordon Avenue, turn left into school entrance.
Once inside the school grounds turn left in about 300ft into parking lot
just past tennis courts. This is the parking lot for the golf course,
#37 on the campus map.
