[RVRC] Loss of my e-mail server capability

Guys,

 

                It appears last Wednesday that Comcast finally brought down
the ban-hammer on incoming port 25 mail traffic for residential customers.
The e-mail system I was running on my server here for the use of myself &
the club's second domain address now fails to function. Any of the solutions
around this issue will cost me more money than I'm paying now per month, and
I don't see the need to upgrade my home service to a commercial account.

 

                Anyone that regularly uses a '@w2qw.net' address, either
actively, or forwarded to another public address, will have to make other
arraignments. I am also dropping the w2qw.net domain name at the expiration
of its term in April.

 

                Drew has done an outstanding job keeping the main w2qw.org
site going, and this club only really needs one location on the internet.

 

                I've enjoyed doing what I could as a little bonus to the
club, but I knew this was going to happen sooner or later. Anyone that has
me stored personally in their contacts as scott at w2sjw.com needs to delete
that address as well.
