New Route 22 Westbound Lanes to Open Dec. 13

BRIDGEWATER – The new Route 22 Westbound lanes will open Friday, Dec. 13, at
5 a.m.

This new section of Route 22 West extends from just west of Thompson Avenue
to just east of I-287 North.  It will consist of three through lanes and
acceleration/deceleration lanes from and to two new ramps to access Chimney
Rock Road.

The off-ramp from Route 22 West will take motorists from Chimney Rock Road
to Frontier Road.  The on-ramp from Chimney Rock Road will take drivers from
Frontier Road and points north of Thompson Avenue to Route 22 West.
