[RVRC] Two More Stories about Eric

Eric would VE with W2IU and myself as part of an effort to license Health
Care first responders in 4 counties of NJ through the NJ Public Health
Amateur Radio Consortium. After one of the session I was driving Eric home
and drove right by my Exit. Eric quickly pointed out to me that I had missed
my turn. Apparently he was paying more attention to the road than I was.

 

One another occasion we were leaving a session in Perth Amboy and W2IU was
in the vehicle ahead of me and he held his arm out the window and flashed
the digits 5 and 2. Eric saw the hand signals and said he wants to go
simplex. I was slightly taken back as I always thought Eric was sight
impaired, but then I realized that he could be extremely focused, No wonder
he's a marksman.

 

I'm sure everyone has wonderful stories of how Eric has touched their life.
Remembering them will always keep Eric in our thoughts.
