[RVRC] Repeater site update

I spoke with Susan today and there's still a power outage on the hill. A
number of trees are down to her West and east directions. A couple of her
trees fell on her neighbors home and she has been helping to clean up the
damage with help from other neighbors and a contractor. She has a generator
which she powers up a couple of hours in the morning and the evenings to
keep her perishable items from spoiling. The generator also powers the
repeater so during that time it is up and available.

 

Usually she starts the generator at 9am and runs it for approximately 3
hours. She again runs it at 5pm for a few hours. If you want to make contact
with other operators try at the top of the hour during those times. She
hears the repeater being kerchunked during those hours. The cable and
internet services are out so linking of repeaters is not possible.
