Greetings Hudson Division Members and friends,

I hope you all are doing well. Both Vice Director Hudzik and I have no power in our homes, but we are grateful that we have not sustained any major damage.

I certainly hope and pray that you all are well, and have power or at least are safe and warm.

We have decided to postpone next Sunday's Hudson Division Luncheon (11/11/12). We have been in communication with Biago's Restaurant and they are going to work with us to come up with another date in the future for this Luncheon.

I am sure you all are aware that NNJ Section - all 12 Counties have gas rationing using the ODD/EVEN system from back in the 70's, beginning today.  Gas lines are still long in this immediate area and unfortunately it's not a safe time for folks to be out. Police presence at the gas stations is evident no matter where you go here in Bergen County. Both Bill and I do not think it would be safe for anyone to travel into this area at this time. We certainly hope you understand that your safety is our main concern and given the weather and conditions we have here and the impending weather for the week, we feel everyone should stay close to home.

Please pass this word along to anyone you know who might have been planning to attend the Luncheon.

We will let you know when a new date is selected. PLEASE NOTE:  The Hudson Division Website has NOT been updated to show postponement of the Luncheon.  WE have no INTERNET here at this time, but will update the website as soon as we can.

Everyone please stay safe and warm, and continue to keep all those who are affected by this storm in your thoughts and prayers.
