	Wish I had opt into the Life Membership in the beginning, but it
seemed a lot of money even back then.
a.. Find an Elmer
	I've had many and try to pass it forward.
a.. Buy a radio
	Glad I have what I have because I can't justify the new ones today
(Flex-6000, TS-990, IC77??, etc.)
a.. Get on the air
	More frequently...
a.. Set up a shack
	Undergoing reconstruction.
a.. Buy some tools
	That I have.
a.. Buy a digital multimeter (DMM)
	Fluke is one of my prize possessions
a.. Build an antenna
	I've done a few and the ugly one's work the best.
a.. Build a kit
	I miss the Heathkits. They were fun.
a.. Go to a hamfest
	Really/
a.. Learn the lingo
	We do speak a different language, don't we?
a.. Subscribe to mailing lists, blogs, and podcasts 
	yahoo groups subscribed list is getting rather long. Thank goodness
for digest mode.
a.. Upgrade to General 
	I've gone through every element.
a.. Go to Field Day 
	32 years and enjoyed every one of them.
a.. Learn Morse Code 
	After the 20 wpm element it's been downhill. Getting back into CW
real soon (sigh).
a.. Get to know your (ham) neighbors 
	That's one of the best features of QRZ.com, searching by zip codes.
a.. Buy QSL cards
	LOTW does spoil one.
 a.. Join SkyWarn, ARES, or RACES 
	Skywarn, and ARES
a.. Participate in a contest 
	Best way to work the kinks out
a.. HAVE FUN!
