Here is first news of YAESU's entry into the ham radio digital world.......apparently, YAESU and KENWOOD have been marketing C4FM digital equipment in the PMR market but now only YAESU has offered a ham-radio dedicated product.  This is in keeping with their recent promise to enter the digital equipment market...........but not DStar.
