[RVRC] RVRC Hamfest notice

This went out to local clubs today. It's a follow-up to flyers that were
sent to Hudson Division clubs last month. The hamfest event is fast
approaching so, everyone please talk up the event.

Dear Fellow hams,

 

The hamfest season is well underway and we have had a number of good hamfest
this year not to mention Timonium and the granddaddy of them all, The
Hamvention. There are some pretty good ones coming up in the near future. I
hope you can make them all.

 

The 2012 Raritan Valley Radio Club (W2QW) is just around the corner and as
usual it will be a great way to spend a Saturday morning. The hamfest will
be held in lots 11 and 12 of the Piscataway High School. For GPS purposes
just dial in 110 Behmer Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854 or use our talk in
frequencies of 146.625- PL 141.3 or 442.250+ PL 141.3 and we'll talk you in.
Additionally we will be monitoring 146.52 simplex.

 

We will have great hourly door prizes announcements and a couple of Grand
Prizes. There will be ARRL Card checking for DXCC,WAS,VUCC by KF2TI. K2KJI
will be there as usual, and this year will be the first year we will be
offering VE examinations. Our hamfest flyer can be found at
