I see at least two things in Mr. Ray's response.
First as he stated, below. Why isn't he contacting the repeater trustee to have him look into the matter

Second, he states below. Did our letter state the input or that we can hear them on our output?
And as one last thing, didn't Alex (KQ2H) belong to the club at one time or was he just a friend of Al Sharbacks? Maybe we or possibly Al could contact him directly for a more friendly dialogue.
The W2FLA repeater, as coordinated, is not transmitting on your input
