In case you'd like to 'see' or DX the meteor shower.......the Perseids meteor shower began on July 17 but are expected to PEAK on August 12 between  noon and 2:30 p.m. Universal Coordinated Time.
(1200 ~ 1430 UTC)

That would put it between 8 a.m. ~ 10:30 a.m. EDST.  You obviously can't see meteors during daylight but you will see some activity just before sunrise on August 12 and maybe work some DX on VHF/UHF during the day.
