[RVRC] Going to try something new with the net tonight...

So....instead of having to muck through finding the RVRC net on ustream,
I've written a mash-up page (actually, wrote it a few months ago, but it
never got deployed...) that does a number of things:
1. It displays the normal ustream feed that you all are used to watching.
2. It adds in a second video channel for guests/co-hosts/video
feeds/whatever on the same page...which means that, you too can be a
guest host...;)
3. It provides a bigger chat window.
All of the providers we use allow, if you sign up for their api
(application-program interface) access, the ability to do this; rather
than having to navigate through ustream's or livestream's menu and
online display, I thought it would be easier to sign up for the api
access, and mash up the page.
Note, you will STILL have to log into the chat room; when you try and
type your message in the first time, it will present you with a username
and password panel...just use whatever username and password you've
normally used in ustream to enter the chat function.
Of course, if you've bookmarked the ustream feed and prefer to go in via
that method...that's ok, too.
Oh, and the URL? Can't forget that...if you find it useful, bookmark it
or put it in your favorites tab or on the link list in Firefox.

It takes up a lot of screen real estate, by the by; the old days of
800x600 video are long gone. If you find it useful (or easier) to use
than manually going through the ustream pages directly, or would like
the page arranged differently, that's pretty much a simple editing task
(the page was built with a text editor, so, it's not fancy and simple to
move stuff around...)
Also, at the top of the page, is a feedback button. this will pop open
a small window for YOU to provide CONSTRUCTIVE comments or requests for
topics or ??? to the hosts. Not saying that we'll read them, mind you,
but it's there for your use.
Look forward to seeing you on the net this evening.
