As Bryan made the comment about today's counterpeople, I'm reminded of Scott Wilson, W2SJW's, take-off on one of their recent commercials: "You got questions: we've got dumb looks!" 
 
Alan, I can't think of anything that I bought there that lasted that long, and is still around like your rcvr., unless you used it sparingly !
