As you are already aware, Hurricane Irene is forecasted to impact,
possibly significantly impact, the ARRL NNJ Section this weekend

Our ARES Leadership and Teams have been in the direct loop of the
latest NHC and NWS information since last weekend. As of Friday
morning, their Alert Status has been raised to STANDING BY. Complete
info on the NNJ ARES Alert Status Levels is at:

All deployments of ARES amateur radio EmComm resources are under the
sole and complete direction of the local ARES Leaders. No one, locally
or regionally is to Self Deploy in this or any EmComm situation.

The most important thing to remember is that you need to FIRST take
care of your and your family’s personal needs, before contemplating
