[RVRC] Trouble in IRLP land

What we alll need to remember is allthough we disagree with dave it is his
system and as such can make any rules he likes to be apart of it, if we
don't want to follow then we just don't be part of his system. Many other
irlp nodes are being abandon due to this move. I agree with eric if we need
to chose good by irlp.

I'm more concerned that Dave, VE7LTD can make a statement that repeaters
can't be controlled by using a system such as AllStar. I don't think the FCC
Rules require more than a Control Operator without specifying that it be by
telephone lines or someone physically going out to the repeater site to shut
it down, repair it,  turn it back on again, etc., we would still be in
control of the system. Now that we have technology to do it over the
internet and VoIP protocals, I don't think he has the capacity to interpret
an internet control op as he is thinking he can.
