[RVRC] Trouble in IRLP land

Eric,
 
I'm more concerned that Dave, VE7LTD can make a statement that repeaters can't be controlled by using a system such as AllStar. I don't think the FCC Rules require more than a Control Operator without specifying that it be by telephone lines or someone physically going out to the repeater site to shut it down, repair it,  turn it back on again, etc., we would still be in control of the system. Now that we have technology to do it over the internet and VoIP protocals, I don't think he has the capacity to interpret an internet control op as he is thinking he can.
