ISS Commander Doug Wheelock KF5BOC appreciates ham radio
On Friday November 26, ISS Expedition 24 returned to earth.
At 01.22 UTC, Soyuz 23S undocked from the International Space Station with
Fyodor Yurchikhin RN3FI, Douglas H. Wheelock KF5BOC and Shannon Walker
KD5DXB onboard.
The trio landed their Soyuz spacecraft safely at 10:46 a.m. local time on
Friday, November 26, at a site northeast of the town of Arkalyk on the
Kazakhstan steppe.
Before leaving the Space Station, *Commander Doug Wheelock* recorded a video
about Ham radio. He offered a nice mini tour of the ISS followed by a
session of making ham contacts over N. America.
