Seems like everyone's getting on the bandwagon - both KJI Gene and Advanced
Specialties in Lodi are now selling the "TYT" model UVF1 
http://www.tyt888.com/en/Products/Detail.asp?ID=1973  and according to John
at Advanced he can't keep them in stock. 

At least our local ham radio resellers, being small businessmen, can spot
early trends and are smart enough to know that it is simply a matter of
their own survival. I guess the big guys have a bit more cushion to support
their ( sneering)  attitude. 


I wouldn't be surprsed to see these turn up with an MFJ or Jetstream logo
in the near future.
