[RVRC] ARRL Field Day 2010

This weekend is ARRL Field Day 2010!  I'd like to extend an invitation to
everyone to stop by and either just visit or operate your own or one of the
set up rigs at the Sarnoff Corporation back yard this weekend.  As usual,
we'll be running QRP (low power/less than 5 watts output) on batteries.  At
least one of our batteries will have been charged up with solar panels!

At Field Day, I plan to set up my Yaesu FT-817 and my laptop to demonstrate
WSPR (Weak Signal Propagation Reporting). I think I'll set up my Buddipole
on 30 meters for the demo.  We will also have a GOTA station:  Get On The
Air - for those folks who may have a new ham radio callsign or who have been
inactive and would like an opportunity to try out their communications
skills on the air!

All are welcome!  Bring your kids, too! This is an educational event -- one
that's lots of fun, too!
