[RVRC] NY Ham Ticketed for mobile operation -

   Crazy...Its stated in the NY state vehicle traffic law VTL  That licensed radio amateurs are exempt from  The Hands free laws.... CB'ers are not.
 The Police officer was Clever.. he did not write Cell Phone on the Ticket... He wrote Hand held device. The HT is a Hand held device.. Yet as a radio amateur  He is exempt from that ruling.. I hope he wins.
