[RVRC] Eagle has landed! My Flex-1500 is ON THE AIR!

Well, the Flex-1500 showed up last week while I was in Boston on business.
 Connie sent a photo of the box after UPS delivered it, to my surprise!  I
cleaned up my shack this AM after the Field Day tear-down of my shack and my
"reward" to myself was getting to connect the new rig up to power, the
computer and the antenna!

The verdict:  IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!!

It will probably take me *months *to figure out all the functionality in the
software, but just using the default settings, I spoke with Roger N2LAQ in
Warrensburg (upstate) NY and Brian, N2UNL in Peru, NY on 7.213 with good
reports here on the G5RV.  Not too shabby for 5 watts and LSB! I'm using the
Yaesu MH-31 microphone I got in Dayton in the flea market for $20!

NE3EE was also in there from Gap, PA near Lancaster, but I'm not sure he
heard me - he was a little light here.

Very nice group on there this AM.  Tomorrow I'll try to reach my 40M group
around 7.210 to 7.213 on it.  Jeff, Walter and Dave, please listen for me!
